Tony Dingwell lives on the Island of Newfoundland, a half an hour ahead of the rest of North America.
Tony graduated from high school in Port aux Basques, a town that most people arriving by boat to the island pass through. He earned a degree in business at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Newfoundland and Labrador.
He works as an auditor preparing financial statement and performance audits for the government. Don’t worry; he is the best kind of government auditor. He audits the government to ensure taxpayer’s money has been spent properly.
He writes flash fiction, science fiction stories.
Hi, Tony. I just found you through One-liner Wednesday. I lived in Newfoundland when I was five years old and my dad was stationed at the base in Argenita. I went to kindergarten there. I’ve always felt I would appreciate the place more now that I’m older. But I do have fond memories of sledding down the hill behind our military housing and hearing the musical language of French on our one TV station.
